MultiVu Video Feed: EA Launches Top Games for Playstation 3 - Kicking Off the Next Generation of Entertainment

NEW YORK, Nov. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- As we move into the all-important holiday sales season, the next generation of games will be available to consumers on Nintendo Wii, Microsoft Xbox 360 and the long-awaited Sony Playstation(R)3.

As gaming platforms have set new standards with greater processing power and high-definition, game creators like Electronic Arts are faced with the challenge of creating the next generation of video games. Electronic Arts, the world leader in gaming, has met this challenge.

Perennial hits like Madden NFL 07, For Speed(TM) Carbon and Tiger Woods PGA Tour(R) 07 have been designed for high definition (HD). Today, when the Playstation(R)3 hits stores, consumers will be lining up to get their hands on the hottest holiday gift. EA's games bring the hardware to life. Games like Need For Speed(TM) Carbon are custom-designed for the Playstation(R)3 to take advantage of the motion-sensitive Sixaxis(TM) wireless controller and the platforms' high-end cell processor. Electronic Arts announced that 30 games are currently in development for the Playstation(R)3 and also have dozens of games planned for the Xbox 360 and several custom-designed games for Nintendo Wii.

IoT is not about the devices, its about the data consumed and generated. The devices are tools, mechanisms, conduits. This paper discusses the considerations when dealing with the...
