Small Cap Specialists Reports on COREwafer Industries Poised to Lead the Electronic Diagnostic Industry

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 09/25/13 -- COREwafer Industries, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: WAFR) ("COREwafer Industries "), a holding company whose wholly owned subsidiary and flagship company, Core Wafer Systems, Inc. ("CWS") is the creator of proprietary software, software algorithms, and hardware that is used in the testing and data mining of the most commonly used computer hard drives, memory, and magnetic; as well as other advanced magnetic, semiconductor and nanotechnology-based device components.

In a recent interview as acting IR for COREwafer Industries Inc. (PINKSHEETS: WAFR) Small-Cap Specialists Reports the following company updates and information.

The components being diagnosed with WAFR technology are ubiquitous in the world today. That is where WAFR and their wholly owned subsidiary, Core Wafer Systems comes to the forefront.

Core Wafer Systems, Inc. (CWS) builds advanced test solutions for engineering and manufacturing to verify devices are being made correctly. CWS undertakes reliability tests to predict when the device will fail during usage and characterization tests to verify that the manufacturing operation is building the device according to the engineered specification.

The worldwide semiconductor assembly and test services market totaled $24.5 billion in 2012, a 2.1 percent increase from 2011, according to final results from Gartner, Inc., May 2013. WAFR has over 1,500 copies of their software installed worldwide, with a number of high-profile customers which include: Applied Materials (CA), TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor), Sematech International, Global Foundries, National Semiconductor (now part of TI), Texas Instruments, US Department of Defense (DMEA, Sacramento CA), Fujitsu (Japan), Intel (Rio Rancho NM), ON Semi (US), Charter Semi (Singapore) and Hewlett Packard.

CWS has an install base of over 800 clients and 1,500 installed systems on HP, Keithley, and Agilent Test hardware. With new versions of critical software in process, customers are expected to begin upgrading over the next 12 months due to End-Of-Life support and a desire to utilized advanced features. Some advantages the Core Wafer Systems has are its near universal coverage on the Agilent (http://www.agilent.com) hardware product line. Once included as part of an OEM agreement with Agilent, this customer base continues to need software updates through at least 2015. CWS has also developed solutions to work on Keithley (http://www.keithley.com) hardware. Keithley products encompass a broad line of test and measurement solutions for engineers and scientists throughout the world in dozens of disciplines. They include highly accurate instruments and data acquisition products that measure low levels of voltage, resistance, current, capacitance, and charge, along with complete system solutions for high volume production and assembly testing.

Basically, the CWS technology mines the data provided by installed quality control scans and interprets them to provide the manufacturer with otherwise unavailable product data. Advanced semiconductor testing is a critical part of the manufacturing lifecycle because manufacturers wish to ensure that they have a low failure rate of the components they create.

Cyril Moreau, President & CEO, began with WAFR on June 22, 2013. Over the last 15 years he has served as Senior Vice President and Senior Director for several highly successful software companies. He developed a track record in building high-growth software companies and excelled in all aspects of leading, building, growing, funding, and managing. His leadership helped each of those companies grow exponentially. Mr. Moreau has stated "Rapid consolidation over the next few years is nearly certain in our industry and we are ready to become a leader."
