Turkcell, Turkey's biggest mobile phone company, has put HP cloud widgetry in its data centers so it can offer its business customers Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Communications-as-a-Service (CaaS) through a customized, online marketplace.
It's hoping to become a one-stop shop for cloud-based services for businesses in Turkey and perhaps beyond.
It's gone with HP's CloudSystem Service Provider, which includes hardware, software and services, all integrated to streamline the on-boarding and operation of IaaS and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), including CaaS (messaging, collaboration and voice), business applications, device management and security.

HP's single software platform can aggregate numerous as-a-service offerings so Tuckcell will be able to add services and create customized cloud service bundles.
It said it would focus initially on messaging services, offering e-mail, calendar and contact management based on Exchange 2010 and Microsoft SQL.
It's reportedly targeting two million SMBs.
Turkcell is the only company in Turkey listed on the New York Stock Exchange. It did $5.6 billion last year. The Turkish cloud market should reportedly be worth $200 million this year and $302 million next year.
